Chatfield is my go to for rental equipment - the staff is friendly and knowledgeable and goes over each item with you so that you are well versed before utilizing the item at your home. They are also very helpful and load heavy stuff into my vehicle which I appreciate with spinal issues/surgeries. Keep up the great work team!

We feed a number of wildlife in our backyard; deer, raccoons, possums, you name it. I’ve been buying the various feeds from Tractor Supply for years but lately they’ve been out of stock on some items because of the Winter demand. I went onto Facebook and inquired about another source and received a number of suggestions for Chatfield True Value. Went there today and they have everything plus!! Prices are competitive and it’s more than half the distance to travel. All of the staff are friendly, knowledgeable of the products and helpful. My go to place for now on.

10/10 experience here. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. The store is clean and it’s massive. Party rental, tool rentals, lumber, they even have a feed and grain section. I’ll continue supporting this local business rather than inflating the big box stores like Home Cheapo

I don't have much experience with this location other than the power equipment division. I'd give 6 stars if I could. The guys are always very friendly and super attentive. the absolute best thing is that Ive needed some pretty specific parts for my scag mower in a pinch and they always have them in stock. I even travel a distance as they are not local to where I live. Very happy.

I came in here a few weeks ago for some hardware to take on the jungle of crabgrass that is my front yard. I mean, I know how to use power equipment as well as the next guy but I was unsure of what I should be wielding. My man, Greg, saw me staring off into the nothingness and helped me find the right products for what I’m dealing with. He told me what I needed and what I didn’t need which I really appreciated and was efficient and courteous. Ask for Greg if you need help, he will set you on the right path!

Edited to update my previous review: I purchased a beautiful brand new SCAG mower today. Greg helped us out and was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I’m happy to support local businesses instead of big box stores A+++ 👍 This is the absolute best place to bring your mowers, generators, snowblowers, etc. I used to go to another place to have my mowers fixed and it took them forever, an average of 3 - 4 months wait, which is crazy to wait that long if you need to mow. I recently decided to try these guys out at Chatfield instead and I couldn’t be happier. The service was nice and friendly, and best of all they fixed everything in under 2 weeks! I will definitely be going to them again when I need something fixed in the future. Thank you!

Beautiful hardware store! The employees are very professional, very knowledgeable of their inventory and very friendly! Very good products reasonable price would never go to another hardware store.
